Thursday evening we felt like being spontaneous...so Friday morning we packed up and drove ourselves to beautiful Colonial Williamsburg!!!! And let's just say it was a fabulous last vaca. before our little one arrives! Yes we may have been in a heat advisory and yes it may have stormed a few times BUT it was a great time with family! Perhaps next time we will come in the fall instead of mid summer though! Leaving the park everyday with sweat dripping from us definitely not fun but it made the pool that much better!! Is it sad that the pool might have been my favorite part of the trip. Who knew that swimming was sooooooo enjoyable when pregnant!! NO tight pants to restrict me, feeling weightless, being cool and refreshed for hours...yes, a pool is the place to stay when pregnant and in a heat advisory bwahaaaha. Besides swimming we spent our days walking the cobble stone streets & taking tours...until I almost passed out and had to be the party pooper who left early :( I guess this pregnant mama just can't do what she used too haha But before I escaped the heat there were sword fights, militias marching, drums in the distance, and theatrics in the streets! Can you say F-U-N Fun! Thanks Kris, Ryan, Kevin, and Glenda for making the trip amazing!! So long Williamsburg...next time we come it will be with a car seat & stroller!
